Editing Checklist for Self- and Peer Editing

One of the hardest aspects of writing can be editing. I have my students use checklists to help them establish a system and routine of editing. I like this system because it is clear, concise, and has peer editing built-in. One check is not enough when reviewing a written work and practice editing a peer’s work will help further develop their editing skills.
